Virtual Community Meeting: Transit-Oriented Development Plan

On Thursday, March 18, 2021, community members attended a virtual meeting on the transit-oriented development (TOD) planning process for the Memphis Innovation Corridor.

The Memphis Innovation Corridor Transit-Oriented Development Plan will outline policies and practices to optimize inclusive access to the mConnect Bus Rapid Transit system that will connect Downtown, the Memphis Medical District, Midtown, and the University District. The TOD plan will serve as a blueprint for bringing people, activities, buildings, and public spaces along the Corridor together via mixed-use development that makes using public transit an attractive option alongside driving, bicycling, walking, scooters, and other forms of transportation in a multimodal lifestyle.
